This is the typical high and mighty attitude of some government civil servants. I must clarify that I do not mean all government civil servants. Most of them are very good but I face such situations at some counters where this superiority attitude (to cover up for their inferiority complexes and miserable pathetic lives) is evident. I was equally perplexed over PCYeoh getting a banana for a statement which I could not find any fault with, if one acknowledges his “normal” writing style. I fail to see anyone getting slandered as his usage of “one night stand” appears to me to be just a play with words and to demonstrate his command of the jokecabulary, and not directed at any forumer in particular.

Whilst most of us have our personal list of things we find repugnant and offensive, and there are many things in my list that could be similar to yours, the proper way to combat these things is not to manipulate the facts, flame the issue or interpret it the way you want to interpret it. I am all for being opinionated but if you can’t see others point of view or people you disagree with, don’t resort to flinging invective and make spiteful misrepresentation. NO I WAS NOT KIDDING. It was a neutral statement and it was you all who are making a mountain out of a molehill. This include those who apologise on my behalf and also Chang who once again overstep his duty by making unfair remarks and also misinterpreted what my intention was when I made that statement.
