    Compilation of possible Bananas.

    With no offence to moderators, just to compile a list of Bananas seen or possible Bananas.

    That also interesting? I only added short notes so the unfortunate receipient knows why he/she got hit. Maybe some people think they are medals or awards eh?

    Thanks for the spelling check. You are right - arguing is correct. I have an old dictionary next to the PC which I check all the time. However, in th heat of the moment (when distributing bananas) I get lazy and just hentam blindly

    online dictionary says recalcitrant = disobedient or stubborn person

    my dictionary (American Heritage Dictionary, 1983 version) says it means "stubbornly resistant to authority or guidance"

    I prefer the one in my dictionary - describes accurately some of the plantation conscripts

    hehe.. i see some bananas with interesting descriptions..

    mayb got others i nvr seen b4 leh..

    especially recalcitrant..really made me use the ms word dictionary..

    that day only wondering, if promise go TT then nvr go..can kena Banana- FFK or not..

    HeeHeeHee, we can make it fun to learn a new English word a day in the Forum too eh? Not that we are all bad in English but there are some words which we seldom use hence we never check the real meanings even if we had seen it before. For example, I had to check the word "conscript" to be sure it was what I wanted it to describe.

    hmm..aristocracy meant a system of government with "rule by the best"

    kaki means member/fren --so "rule by best fren"? hahahaha
