So how many bottles of vinegar did you use to get rid of them? Nah, cats got 9 lifes cannot die so easily. And they're irritating to neighbours if these owner of the cats don't jaga them properly, let them wonder around freely into neighbours area.

I would say if the cats are not own by anyone or you do not know the owner, call PAWS or SPCA! Otherwise, if the cats are nice persian then get your friend see if they want the cat, get rid of them. No killing involve, everyone happy. This is only a suggestion.

You see, mainly the owner of the cats gotta train their pets not to loitter around ppl's hse and pee and sh!t on ppl's property. Not only it irritates us, so much so, some of us would have the intention of killin' them. Actually, we should shoot the owner instead of the cat for not knowing how to discipline the cat and yet wanna keep them.

I think I also wanna try wif the vinegar .. geezz !!! Sounds like gettin' rid of mosquitos only. As long as it works, don't care ... everything also gotta give a try.

for some unknow reasons, cats like to sleep onto of the roof of my parents car. The shiny sparkling "royal red" colour is now full of scratches no thx to CATS.

If your house have sufficient space to rear dogs, it might be a good way to ward of any cats in your premises.

I use to train my Dachshund in hunting down cats next to my neighbours house since it was abandon for quite sometime, it's quite an amazing sight really as you see the dog chassing the cat. With my neighbours "lalang" as tall as 3-4 feet, you can barely see the action except for some movement in the "Lalang". I need to remind all of you this dogs are hounds, and they are breed to hunt (similiar to fox hunting). The main objective is to frighten the cat away, if the dog should attack it will go for the neck of the cat (effectively choking it to death). So proceed with caution.

    Dual role:
    1) Cat deterrent, and
    2) Thief deterrent (from entering through the balcony and perhaps roof).

If there is such a product, use a dog scent spray to emulate a dog presence but effectiveness only applicable to item #1.

Alternatively, a more expensive option but permanent resolution, close your balcony entirely by expanding your existing room into the balcony area.

then she will have to deal with all the dog ****

well if you have a backyard like mine (small town +ulu place) than a dog will come in handy. Normally dog don't give much problem, provided you know what they want and their "needs are satisfied".

Yes Raikonen, brilliant suggestion. Should I do the same thing to irritating and inconsiderate neighbours as well?

Will consider the vinegar option but cautious that acidic vinegar will rust metals.
