KUALA LUMPUR: A well-known actress who was allegedly “caught” dating a Datuk by the latter’s wife is being investigated for allegedly assaulting the pregnant Datin at a popular shopping mall.
The 24-year-old Datin, who is six months’ pregnant, had alleged that the actress kicked her in the stomach when confronted at the mall.
The incident is said to have happened in front of astonished shoppers last Wednesday.
It is learnt that the Datin sought immediate medical treatment and was relieved when told the baby was unharmed. She later lodged a report with the Brickfields police.
However, reports have surfaced claiming that the actress had asked the Datuk to convey her apologies to his wife over the incident.
