Remember it reported that the Helath ministry said it was going to check the products on the market. I have no idea how they fine-process the cod liver oil but definitely preservative, coloring, flavour are added. I usually consume raw honey & vege, and sometimes chlorella. I Goggled for the news when I first heard about it couple weeks back, and found quite a number of links to the report.

The recall only affects those cod liver oil in capsule form, apparently one of Seven Seas vendor may be responsible for the elevated level of dioxin found in the capsules. Bottled liquid form are quite safe, it seems. Try and google for "seven seas cod liver oil recall" and see for yourself.
