Orchipalar thanks. Will keep a vigilante eye on champagne colored Kelisas when I'm on the road today. Hope the girl would be back home with her family soon; if she hasn't already.

I just want to know how many of you actually call Mr. Wong at 016 777 0955. If you have not, why not try first and then decide what you should do. Though I saw this SMS flying around, I have yet to read the news in the papers. So just like TQ I am beginning to wonder how true this is. I still can't get thru to the person who sent me the SMS to verify her source.

PC. I've tried calling at 830am but the call went into the voicemail. What do you think. Should we try calling again? Perhaps they have found the girl.

When I got the sms from Orchi, I tried many many times to call Mr Wong for more details. Unfortunately, all I got was a voice message in Mandarin....and I was all at sea! Mandarin ta boleh pakai lah!! ;-(

Today I am going out of town so not of much help now!

But the point I want to reiterate here is all you parents out there!! For god sake please dont ever leave your young kid(s) alone in the car! So many things can happen. They could play with the gear and cause the car to crash. They could get hijack/stolen together with the car. They can die of suffocation in our sweltering heat in case the air cond fails, or in case they accidentally play and switch off the aircond. They could play with the power window and accidentally choke themselves. They could play and crash through the glass window or screen etc etc. See..!!! So many possibilities!!! So PLEASE lah. STOP leaving your kids in the car! Otherwise you could be looking for trouble one of these days.

My wife received the sms at 10.40pm last night from her friend. Only read the message this morning, immediately checked with her friend, who said she got the sms from another friend .... My wife tried to call "mr wong" but it went to voice mail which gave the message "voice mailbox full" ... which isn't surprising. By the way, the exact sms text was "Pls forward this to as many as u can. Missing child on board champagne gold Kelisa license JGL 685. Pls contact mr Wong 0167770955. This is real case. Pls help!".

We are still trying to verify the chain but at the same time, i think we'll still forward the sms to friends. Hope that's the right thing to do.

That is why I asked if anyone of you tried calling Mr. Wong. If his daughter is in trouble, don't you think he will make damn sure that people can call him. I lost count the number of times I tried calling him over a period of 12 hours and each time I failed. Orchi knows that. I even tried calling the person who sent the SMS to me. I finally got to speak to her and she admittedly replied that neither her source try to verify the inforamtion except to click "SEND." If the authencity of the source cannot be verified, don't lah forward the sms. This sms has now been forwarded to the police for further action. They will check on the car registration number and also if any police report has been make by a certain Mr Wong. If this is serious enough, they can even trace back to the source of this SMS. Meantime, we do nothing not even speculate anything.

Ok, if that's the case, we'll just hold back for now. Thanks.
