Old car write off - what needs to be done?

Hi,

Was just wondering, does anybody have any ideas how to write off an old car with JPJ? A scrap dealer is interested to take my Dad's car for scrap, was wondering what is the procedure to de-register the reg. car no with JPJ if any?

Anybody have any experience, thanks in advance...

Go to JPJ, fill up the form.

Remembered needs to take a oath...

Remember to make 2 copy and make sure that jpj acknowledged that they receive the form....

Sorry if this is a dumb question, must a Wilayah plate go to JPJ Wilayah to do this? There is no chance to do it at JPJ Selangor (which is nearer)...

is depands where your file are....but if your is wilayah plate, it should be wilayah....
but it will be mentioned in your registration card where your file ar....you might need to call JPJ to verify
