Angry Bad Traffic Jam at Summit on Friday morning

    USJ Forumer,

Does anyone know what causes the bad jam on Friday morning at the GIANT Intersection Traffic light near Summit. It took me 25 minutes to clear the 200 meter stretch at 6.50 am.

Look like the new NPE 'ramp' improvement does not help much.

One problem, I noticed is the 'too short' green light time for traffic heading toward Subang Jaya.

Err...that's bad...but it took Orchi about the same time...just to get across to Giant USJ 1 from USJ 2...coz freaking drivers prefer to get stucked in the yellow box...at the traffic light junction infront of Shell...ahem...imagine 1 traffic light junction only...so how?

Err...would you be willing to gather your family friends or more residents to attend the public hearing(relating to protest to the flyover n overall worsening jams in USJ/SubangJaya) at MPSJ complex on January 12th at 10:30am...n raise your dire concerns about the same too...?

    hmmm

u know when i was sitting in the bus heading towards my destination while stuck in the traffic for 35 minutes juz the stretch starting from court1 to the roundabout, i looked in the car beside me.most of the car were occupied by one driver, how good it will be if those driver wh work in same company and live around same area take turns drive to the company. not only save cost but also save time.

Err...by 2009 or earlier...the crude reserves that our gomen depended upon... could be depleted...n from increasing costs of imported crude...fuel prices would rise up to RM10 bucks or more per gallon...one may need to pay that amount to reach KL one way...or as much as 25 cents for the cost of fuel only per every kilometre which he travels...if he chooses to drive his car to go to work alone...

Our gomen would NOT hesitate to build more tolled expressways...bridges n flyovers...coz that's where it involves BIG money deals...

BUT it has been 48 years since...they could only screw up the public transport systems...faster than they could ever improve on them...by introducing ineffective n costlier train transport systems...(environmental friendly...n costs efficient...MASS Rapit transit systems which they claimed to be the best in spirits of malaysia boleh?).

Err...take for an example the buses...everybody depended on n used them to get to schools... work places n anywhere which they desire to go...

Thousands of them buses were everywhere on the streets in the city as well as those found in vast residential communities n suburban townships...may them be mini buses or larger buses belonging to dozens of bus operators such as...sri jaya...len sen...foh hup...tong foong...len hup...etc etc. n many other companies that operated the mini buses...

They packed the streets leading in n out or moving within...of the KlangValley...ferrying hundreds of thousand of passengers...daily...though with certain hickups...nevertheless they served the purpose quite well...

BUT eventually due to the certain agendas that the gomen possessed since...in one of many...they froze n cancelled ALL the bus operating licenses to those mostly private owned long established companies...

They thought they could do better n earn more 'effortless' money to award the licenses to them few freaking consortiums of buses companies instead...ahem...only to screw everything up BIG time since...

actually ur idea is a good one..but as u all know, not everyone fancy sharing vehicles with someone else, especially if u have ur own things to do and its not easy finding someone who works in the same company as u and lives nearby u also...so its quite of a hassle if everyone were to carpool...furthermore,nowadays u have the kancils and the kelisaz and myviz which are cheap and more n more ppl can afford them...anyway,if more n more ppl carpool, definetely there will be less traffic but i dont see that happening in the near future....
