    Cobbler in Subang/USJ area?

    I just couldn't find a cobbler ...when I went round USJ9 and USJ10.
I wonder where had all of them gone too?

Or it is possibly MPSJ has crackdown on this shoe cobblers prying on the shop's side way.

    Any idea where to find?

I have stopped using road-side cobblers as their work does not last. Now I go to either Summit or Subang Parade. The cobbler in Summit is at the 1st or 2nd floor and prices are reasonable. Very good workmanship.

Actually not EON bank - that guy (saw 2 today) operates on the 5-foot way next to Bank Simpanan Nasional. Usually if he isn't there he sticks a piece of paper on the glass window depicting his contact number.

Looks like there is cobbler everywhere. Seek and ye shall find. But I like that guy Chang is talking about. He has the initiative to put his contact number. I wonder whether it is to attend to people whose shoes broke down on the road like the tow truck service??

Where is the one at AMBank SS15?

Anybody knows of this one? I have been looking for him since end of 2005 till now. No sign. Is he taking an extended holiday or what?

I mean the one at SS15 Ambank. He used to operate around there. The reason I am looking for him is because one of my pair of shoes for repair are with him. Luckily I still have spare shoes!

    Talking RM25 for mending/sewing

I wanna say thank you to one and all who so kindly pointed me to a place to "fix" a pair of my sneakers.

Well ...I went to the one cobbler at SUMMIT called "BEST COBBLER & something-else-which-I-forgot"

Went there and the guy (chinese) over the counter was tellin me that the usual rate is RM30 (for mending and sewing) per pair...but he gave me a discount it seems ...RM25 ...hmmm ...expensive ka??

Told me to go back to them in an hours time ..so ...went for dinner first ..can say the place (SUMMIT) is so "lau-yah" though with some notable fast food chains ...

I visited a restaurant ..not really a restaurant i think ...forgotten the name ..it's next to MANDY's (right-side of MANDY's) ..the food I would say ..so-so only.

Went back to the cobbler about 45mins later and the job was done. He He ..cool ..looks oki ...but have to really know if it is "oki or not" only by next week cuz me using that pair of sneakers to do some caving and climbing of some hills.
