Pejabat Pendaftaran Negara for marriage registration

    Hi all,

Can anyone tell mw where will be the easiest and nearest place to go to apply for a marriage registration. We will be back to Malaysia in mid Jan but leaving again in Mid Feb. I had contacted the JPN and one of the staff had replied me that there is an express way to do the marriage registration.

    Can anyone help.

    Thanks in advance.

you can go to any jabatan pendaftaran negara to register your marriage.

i think there's a sped up process whereby you have to pay a certain amount of money for the fast track application. just make sure you've got all your documents ready, both original and photostated copies. oh yeah, make sure you've got photos as well.

    congratulations

    p.s. check out www.jpn.gov.my

There is some procedures need to be done if you are marrying a person who is staying in a different state from you (base on the address of IC), has anyone heard of it? JPN needs documents from other state's JPN for verification of the person in that particular state and it is gonna take quite a long time to solve.

That's what i came across lah...
