Err...yup...saw a copy of the letter at lunch time...said to be 14 storeys high...proposed by TopSpeed Development...

A 21 days notification is now tendered to its effect by MPSJ to all residents living next to the padang...

Within 21 days...come rain or shine...christmas or new year n holidays included...you are expected to present to MPSJ individually or collectively...in writing...whether you object or not...

Whatever the protests I guess they will just say that they have taken all views into consideration and they will do whatever is necessary(meaning absolutely nothing) to ensure that their lives are not affected!!!

WTF also. This is under JKP Zon 3 and that is my area. The residents managed to stop the foodcourt and now this. As long as there are empty land, unscrupulous people cannot just sit quiet. According to the Local Government Ministry, all green lungs must be gazzetted before end of the year. Are they going to do it. They see money everywhere. Well, got to rally them to submit their objections first and talk later. Anyone who received such letter, please contact/pm me. Let us stand together on this matter. I have a feeling they have done their ground work during the term of the previous YDP who was not interested in the well being of the taxpayers. Like I say, during his tenure, there were so many unreasonable applications. This one must have missed the boat and now landed on the new YDP talble. I would say that it is because of a lack of a structured plan for MPSJ that people just try their luck in grabbing empty land and submitting indecent proposals. Folks, for the coming structure plan, please support us or else we are gonna have this problem and we have to be full time fighting them. Prevention is better than cure. Also we must bolt the stable doors before the horses bolted. Or else no point crying over spilt milk.

Anyone ever bother to ask why a company involved in car servicing & repair is a BIG TIME DEVELOPER. ?????????? I am more inclined to think there is someone behind this Francis Guy (owner director of topspeed)

In Malaysia anybody can be a developer. You just need a piece of land, charge it to the bank for start-up capital. The rest of the working capital will come from suckers oops buyers of the said property.

The large playground infront of Sri Bayu is NOT in USJ11/3 but rather USJ11/2.
USJ11/3 playground would be the one infront of Chatters' and the Ayuhtiah (spelling?) Thai restuarant

A field whether large or small, if designated ,for the benefit of the residents usage should be left as it is . The only development should be to improve on the facilities or amenities there so that more resident would go there to relax n some much needed exercise . The only reason that not many people is going there is that it is not made more conducive for people to go there. This does not...does not ..give any right to someone to convert and build an apartment on it.

WTF from me too. First it was the food court .. and the trouble the residents have to go through...now it's apartments. Why do something tell me I got a strong feeling that it could be the work of the same guy?

Can't they let quiet neighbourhood stay quiet ?

TopSpeed - isn't this the same fella who built the new shoplot blocks in Taipan..the one with the gym... near McD's.

Err...correct...they are fast becoming to be a popular developer in these areas...n the ones in Taipan were NEVER put up for sale to the public...they are renting n managing the lots out...impressive too.

Ahem...ya never know...they could impress MPSJ n other relevant parties that they are very capable...to take on MORE n the rest of their planned projects in these areas as well...

Err...when BIG money is in question...anything is possible!
