    Turkish Delights

The white witch In Chronicles of Narnia is oddly attractive..esp. with her magical Turkish Delights for Edmund. Yummy..looks like they are powdered sweets with flavoured fruit fillings..mashmallowee..

Any idea where I could get me some of these?

    Thank you..

Mon, they are chocolates. Try Cadbury. I think the movie made them far more interesting, its not that big of a deal when you had them. I had better chocolates than turkish delights.

The turkish delights shown in Narnia seemed more like pastries to me... like strawberry puff (with strawberry jam filling) covered with icing sugar...

    They look very sinful..hehe..

and soft..perhaps with strawberry or grape fillings. I had one of those rocky mashmallow chocolates that looked like em' but they weren't powdered like the Turkish Delights..

Check-ded! If they are only found in the US, I know just the right man to look for..probably he'd make a big fuss why I'm still craving sweets after all these years! haha..but they'll be too late as Christmas gifts for my niece and nephew..

    Anyway thanks Cherry and Pets

Hmmm...I'm not sure where to get it in Msia, but if you are in US, just go down to any MiddleEastern Store you would find many such delights and candies...very very sweet loh...

My sis says she saw them in australia. but b'cos they come in very big packs she didn't buy and try. However, they're not chocolates. It's some pinkish, purplish, squishy stuff.
