    Cool Could there...? Posibbly?

Could there possibly be any folks here that loves outdoorsy stuff (white water rafting, abseiling, travel)... and some not outdoorsy stuff (more like, theatre, movies, enjoying bands, musical ensemble, anything to do with performing arts) that find themselves running out of like minded people to do these interesting stuff together as their friends have either abandoned the country or those married ones have forgotten some 'life' still existed with their other friends?

    Possible?

Yeah..I do that too. But very selectively too at Philharmonics. Prefer more international series. Too much of the same classical... Mon, you travel by KTM for night performance? Be careful. Sometimes when late you may miss the night komuter. Very unreliable.

I love the mountains, my climbing kakis and I hike/jungle-trek/camp at least once a month. Our trips are all very economical as we carry our own supplies and gear.

I also like to snorkel, white water rafting and mountain biking.

About not having the like minded people to do stuff with, well i had that problem since schooling days. My friends were all very "cosmopolitan", leeches and getting dirt in their hair wasn't at all fun for them. They also prefer hotel accommodations and buffet breakfast.

Early this year i was introduced to a bunch of guys from kampar who has been hiking since they were nine, scale mount tahan when they were 13 and i haven't stop hiking since then...wow wee.

    sanenfree,
PM me if you would like to join us, December's trip is all planned out but i think we should be going somewhere in January.

    Scuba diving

I scuba dived in Sipadan with Sipadan Lodge in '94, that was the most memorable 4 days of my life, diving 5 to 6 times a day, in the most beautiful environment I have ever seen.
I also dived in Pulau Au (east of Tioman), it wasn't as pretty but as I went with a group of friends, I enjoyed it very much too.
It's always good to go with friends, whether it is jungle trekking, caving or scuba diving.
Since there seem to be a group of us with common interests, maybe we can organise a trip together.

I'm totally into outdoor stuff, man. Jungle trekking, fishing and a little white-water rafting.

Recently, my bro-in-law's company organized a team-building session in KKB which was like totally into the outdoor stuff. A few mates are planning an outing at the place and my bro-in-law highly recommends the outing in KKB. He has the contacts and says that it is totally worthwhile.

    Totally into outdoors, man!!!

I work hard, man, but I also play hard.....

More into riding big dirtbikes into God-forsaken places in Borneo where never in my dream have I ever thought I would ever go to these places. Small villages, long-houses (finding the best Tuak and rating them! hic!) and helping to seek help from well-heeled friends to adopt these villages and sponsor poor families.... hic!
