This is the Southern Cross region of the Milky Way, Scorpius is completely out of view, way way to the left of this image. FYI we can quite easily observe this star rich region from Subang Jaya...

Ya, in 30 seconds, the ISS can pass over a fifth of the sky, especially when it crosses near zenith.
The horizontal streak could be the SWIFT satellite, based on time and direction of movement....
