hi CCY thanks so much for the soft ware link u gave. it is really very useful almost exactly same as microsoft word,powerpoint, excel.. i have even tried to open microsoft word and powerpoint file...

shirleysee - From my experience with HP/Compaq they never trade down or downgrade their products. From the picture you show you are getting:
1. Better and Newer processor
2. Extra 40GB hard disk...
