Salute to the Chinaman cop for a job well done! We should learn some tricks from him. http://www.pic4ever.com/images/clap.gif
By then or if this employment is widespread..MALAYSIA is virtually a POLICE STATE!... but then again, drastic measures for perilous times..ITS MUCH NEEDED since PDRM can only do so much in the past, NOW and the FUTURE..the way I see it.
PEOPLE HAVE TO HELP THEMSELVES NOW!...period!
Even then..I think shops have to employ more than 1 guard for the premise. One guard with shotgun isn't enough in case of a sudden gang intrusion/attack..and DON'T EMPLOY sleepyheads!
Hahaha. Many of them now are just this, aren't they? http://www.pic4ever.com/images/crazy.gif
Well..if its true..thats to the shop's own peril!..its their risk and potential loss if robbed/burgled.
If it were me, I'd feel more confident with some trigger happy ex cop...:heheheh:
I'm sure those sleepyheads are likely to be (or in the past) extremely poorly paid employees... paid peanuts you get monkeys!...Its the company's fault for offering such people.
Thats another wrong reason why this land is "NO standards one"... or cowboy land..anything goes till something bad happen.
He's a cop and trained personnel..that certainly is advantageous and react in situations like this. Good that the robber is caught!..Now serve justice to the fullest extent of the law. I'm sure that robber ain't going to be happy happy jolly jolly being a PIA of the rakyat for next decade! One OFF the streets...thousand more to go...
Ah....pleasant surprise that the local Malaysian taxi scene is mentioned in a tech publication...

Cheers!
Loving this thread! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-char013.gif. Just when BsLee was talking about eateries employing armed jagas for their customers' protection, Fonzie appeared out of nowhere with another topic and he is not off topic at all. The most fun thing is Mod Chang cannot reprimand anyone for going off topic! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-devil05.gif Thank you, thread starter. Well done, Charbroiled.
Fonzie, be that as it may, I've sworn off taking cabs a long time ago. Had enough of being ripped off and refused to be taken to a destination because ada traffic jam sana lah. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-angry014.gif
Crime in this land is at new heights..more and more gated areas, armed guards for restaurants. I reckon armed guards guarding entrance and exit roads to terrace homes maybe a reality very soon. Or better still those who can afford some security guards sitting at own gate 24/7. I'm sure many big bungalows already having this feature.
No jokes anymore!...its very very real! We're already hearing of people getting assassinated...errr...shot at!
Ultimately MALAYSIA BECOME A POLICE STATE!...NO JOKE AGAIN!
YOU HAVE TO JAGA OWN EKOR, JANGAN HARAP gahmen jaga ekor lu...lu mati, mati seorang...sia sia saja!
Scary but true. That scenario is taking shape pretty fast!

Security guards not always the best deterrent when it eventually becomes - 'a jungle out there'

How come bifocal lenses are so blardy expensive.. ??
My first pair of bifocal (progressive) lenses was RM850…
Second pair which was less than 3 years ago is RM1300.
Now, the new pair is RM1700 !!
It is just the blardy lenses without the frame...!!
p/s : maybe it is time to quit reading and just go for eye-washing in shopping mall, swimming pool, etc, etc.. an ordinary RM300 lenses can do the job.. !!
Wow!! That's expensive with a capital "E"! I didn't know bifocal lenses cost that much. RM1300 a pair?!? At that price, unless you can see through clothes, I suggest you return them for a full refund!! :heheheh:
On a serious note, wow! I thought bifocal lens were cheaper than multifocal lenses which I understand cost around RM600. What does "progressive" do?
