They tried to buy off the carpet man but then he's not happy with the price paid so he still goes on with his so called expose to scare the shit out of the first family. So far they have not responded and have kept silent on the matter. Similarly all the dogs have also stopped barking except at the rocket that flies by on its way to the moon in search for justice. Its all internal fighting which have over spilled over to the public arena. Normally these spats are covered but then these are not normal times.
Off to buy a replacement internal desktop HDD today, 1TB about 200 bucks. I think price dropped 10% beginning January.
Also to look around for another hot water kettle...need one urgently..NO local PLASTIC kettles, especially by ONE local manufacturer.. PISSED ME OFF the last time I used their product!..the boiled water smelled of plastic compound! My 2 year old Prestige UK kettle, bought at some clearance sales KAPPUTED!..no repair possible cos the element is all integrated. It was good though!..unlucky me it kaput. :cool:
Yesterday, helped my friend to configure 4 pc's to link wirelessly to the new Epson all in one WF-7511 fax/scanner/printer. Lovely machine for 1k+!..everything wireless but with fax software downsides..but its still better than manual fax machine with facsimile paper. Straight from any PC to fax out. Nope its NOT THAT EASY not straightforward for just anyone to network print and configure. Some good knowledge on TCP/IP port config is essential. Its NOT like you put in some driver cd and its all smooth sailing afterwards..
Then repair his leaking cistern and toilet...what a day!
From computer techie to plumber! At least I got belanja for any great meal in town for the work...:heheheh:

IT hardware prices at 19USJ Mall isn't competitive and percentage higher than latest pricelists found around. Won't buy there.
AllIT at Sect 14 PJ and at Low Yat seem to maintain the prices according to offers or current pricelist.
Maybe its no wonder why that place upstairs look like a dead town for IT stuff.
