I started enjoying green tea when I worked in the Japanese restaurant. have tried Chinese varieties of green tea but it is not the same. The color, texture and the aroma is different. And I enjoyed the Japanese green tea with toasted rice.
Tea is like wine - it is not the price but what you wanna to look for or prefer. while working in some up class restaurants where I get to sample some expensive wines every Fridays but ended up recommending mid price and even lower priced wines that surprised some patrons who appreciated the recommendation not based on the price. Once was called by the boss who furiously asked me why I dun recommended expensive range of wines. Told him that customers even VIP appreciated to try some honest opinions where they were seen coming back more often than usual. And I get to order them the more expensive signature menu on the house. It was a win win business. I was selling the restaurant biz instead for the wines companies. The American Italian Boss who was a chef owner decided to leave me alone instead of sacking me.:D
