Recently, I use credit card points to redeem a tower fan. The tower fan looks nice from the online redemption catalogue. It works well also - quiet, low to strong fan, and with built-in ionizer and timer.
But the control of the fan is stupid. The moment you switch it on, the default fan speed is strong, you can change to medium and then low fan with the remote BUT you can't change from lower fan to stronger can. You have to switch it off, and then switch it on again for the new control sequence to restart from strong to low fan !!
I guess this tower fan can contest among the dumbest electrical appliance design..

Fuel price up in October by 10sen. Anyone rushing at 11pm to fill up to save roughly RM2-4?
Well, all sort of people in this so- called "middle class" area lah...
Some vent their anger non stop just because the parking at a hypermarket is not free, although it is rm1 per entry but this is "krazy" to some people. Some moan and groan non stop just because of the 50 cents surcharge of TnG reload, 50 cents is regarded as "profiterring" to some people.
Of course, this is a free world. They are entitled to their opinion about living costs and so do others. BUT some of these agitated and ultra sensitive fellas get easily irritated when others talk about their "money- savings" tips. They want people to keep the comment to themselves.. !!
Actually, no need to worry about them of wasting fuel just to go to petrol station to save rm2-4 because they can't see that far. Bear in mind, 50 cents is considered as "profiteering" to someone, I'm sure rm2-4 must be hell a lot of savings to this ^sx×@ .. ;)
I just ask if anyone going?...I didn't bother...I know its not any real savings or worth the effort but yet and amazingly..it does happen many other people purposely line up like there's some shortage.
As for GaryL (Yes, I would point him PRECISELY!,..and I won't keep this to myself!)..again and again poke despise first thing in the morning. Some this, some people that? Despise is a 2 way street..its not one way street!
Reminds me of a former colleague whom no-one liked to be around or work with, because his character was to carefully listen, digest, analyze certain points that were mentioned, then humiliate (char kaw kaw!) you in any given conversation for self satisfaction. Can even grin like some smiling tiger summore! :p Macam itu punya orang..Gua lari jauh2!

Most people will only go and fill up if they happen to be around there.
They also know how to count to save.
They do not go there simply to fill up to save RM2-4:(
Otherwise, it will cost more bearing in mind there is this wear & tear to your car & if you happen to have bad luck, you may get muck by some bad people who do their business in the middle of the nights.
[QUOTE=Naka;605549]Hmmmm!...I can't read everyone's mind but then its too many cars lined up at the same time and can't be all of them just happened to be around there...could be, could not. Its possible that they're thinking they "could" save a lot. Anyway..its up to them. I have never once lined up my car at the 11th hour for this. I don't need to. My petrol consumption per month is barely RM40 if I don't go outstation...maybe even less when I'm using the LRT more often.
Among all my bills, my electricity bill is the highest. I'm still thinking how to consume less and pay much less. I've changed half the amount of lighting bulbs and tubes to LED types..another few more to go. Saving on lighting wattage may not be much..a few bucks off, but I'm trying out LED lamps to see how long the will last. Those 11W non-LED Osram and Philips energy saving types don't last very long...about a year or less. The price of LED bulbs (other China make) are around the RM8.50 onwards at some wholesale shop at Taipan.
Exactly, some people just think others are simpletons like them... :heheheh:
Reminds me of a ex-colleague who has a nickname of bs#@^. He likes to claim he is an urban poor who live in a pseudo-middle class area. When asked him why not shift to other areas that he can afford and doesn't need to complain so much, he will come out with tons of excuses which basically all the faults are not his, all faults are other people fault/gomen policy fault/weak RM fault/greedy businessman fault, etc, etc.
In short, he thinks and he feels others owe him a better living... and everything must be within his affordability or else it is expensive. He is a saint in his own world, pathetic and interesting, isn't it !! ;)
Just PERFECT! Took the bait, Swallowed the hook, line, sinker and any fiction that I could have placed there!
Then take some point and char char kaw kaw, even mimicking in the same manner like some childish tit for tat. Even more self-exposure of his true character when washing dirty laundry in public!
The "simpleton" slur appears again. I think I recall many moons ago some other forumer here who wasn't amused and responded back angrily. Wasn't me! Interesting isn't it?
Someone thinks he is smart enuf to place bait...
I always like the Peribahasa Melayu which just nail it everytime without fail.. - "siapa makan lada, dialah yang berasa pedas".. :heheheh:
This thread is about everything right? I'm wondering if any of you guys know any along contact to make loan with. The kinda along that no need to have slip gaji one
