Very long but pls read.......especially LADIES WHO ARE TAKING SLIMMING PILLS.

To all who are taking a herbal slimming product from China, named "KINTOP I II III" distributed by a local direct selling company (situated in Taman Shamelin, Cheras), pls be aware!

This morning I read it from the newspaper saying that, this product contain contain unsafe western medical ingredients - SIBUTRAMINE, also known as Meridia, an appetite suppressant that causes increases in blood pressure and heart rate, are among the latest products banned in the SAR.
It could actually lead to death! Another "Slim 10" case...

The most common side effects associated with sibutramine include dry mouth, headache, constipation and insomnia. The drug will cause a small increase in average blood pressure, and causes a higher increase in some patients. People with uncontrolled high blood pressure should not take sibutramine (Obese people usually have high blood pressure,which means...cannot take lar).

Yesterday about 10.30am at Taman Shamelin,Cheras, about 18,000 boxes of this product kena sapu by some officer from the National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau. According to that, the resposible corporation will be charge under the Poisons Act of 1952 No.13A

:confused: :confused: :confused: my God.....I had just finished 1 box, planning to buy another 1....luckily I read this but my hubby already taken 2 boxes. It works but the scary thing is I really loss my appetite and I still can stand it even not eating for the whole day! I love food......but i hate getting fat :mad: . Somehow I am stopping this immediately.

I called the person who sold me the product. What she replied was that, this case is still under investigation, and this is just some jealous competitors trying to sabotage their good business. Sounds pretty familiar....same like Lampe Berger. :p Everytime this happened,most of the members from the MLM or direct selling company will say the same thing. :D :D :D

welll.... for those who read abt KINTOP 123 having the drugs called sibutramine..... IT"S A FALSE STATEMENT!!!!

pls refer to UTUSAN MALAYSIA 29 July 2006 Saturday. world section pg 24 & 28 and also SIN CHEW papers.

if one claims tat our product has that particular drug, y would the dep min of health officiate a new SNE Center in mersing?

therefore... KINTOP 123 is safe for consumption and there's no need to worry abt the product.... it's 100% safe, 100% effective and 100% natural.

NO STARVING, NO DIARHEA AND NO REBOUND!!!!

i'm very happy with the results aft consuming them and others tat i've introduced too....

p/s : aft a week kosmo said tat it 100% contains sibutramine, they published again stating that they are unsure abt it content 50-50.... trying to save their assssss.....

Let's see. 100% effective could also be construed as a false/unsubstantiated statement. Care to point out any clincal trials? :rolleyes:

I would only trust a medical product if it is certified by medical authority as safe and any side effects are revealed. There is no such thing as 100% safe, 100% effective and 100% natural. Only those who are profiteering from the sale of this products will say this and they will be the first to disappear the moment someone ends up half dead or even dead consuming their product. To dolp76, I am totally not impressed with that Dep. Minister of Health officiating the SNE Centre. By right, he should not be associating with the event due to conflict of interest. The other reason being people like you even got overwhelmed by his presence that you believe everything. I believe even if the Dep Minister asked those presence to eat shiit, they would without hesitation. Why? Because he is the Dep Minister of Health mah.

What happened to the 100% guy? No sign of him after more than a week. Can you then trust his product?

well..i didnt go missing or went hidding... just busy with my work. well..it's up to you guys to believe whether is this product 100% safe, natural and effective. no point arguing or debating it over here.

as wat pcyeoh said, "I would only trust a medical product if it is certified by medical authority as safe and any side effects are revealed" how do you trust a medical product? mind to share? of course very product is certified by medical authority b4 it goes to the market. approval by KKM.

the management do have the lab report from singapore. if you wish to get them, u can call and ask them for it. if not, you can take the product and test it yourself.

It says here that the Min of Health officiated the new SNE Centre and it does not say it endorses or certifies the product of the SNE Centre without any side effects. If attached to the product is their MOH hologram, then I will consume the product with peace of mind.

if there's approval by KKM and with the code, of course it's safe.

I won't be so sure. The KKM approval is based only on samples submitted to it for testing. It only means those samples were not adulterated with banned or unapproved substances. There have been instances of fraud whereby undisclosed substances or restricted active ingredients are put in the product after KKM approval. KKM does not have the resources to monitor the market place for these "health products" thoroughly I'm afraid.

What we need to see is strict regulation on health and medical claims by products like this which are made without any substance, i.e. without proper clinical trials and clinical studies. Unfortunately in Malaysia there isn't any strict enforcement so it's really a "wild wild west" out there.
