There is a hakka restaurant in USJ14, not sure if it's still there. And there was one in Sunway(facing outdoor car park), but closed down already for long.
There's one in SS14, same rows as the BakKutTehs. But never tried it though. I think it's sellling YongTauFoo as well. Also, check out the Teo Chew Meng on the same row.

I tasted a good Hakka restaurant in the township near Aman Suria. Just drive to BU 11. Go all the way straight....lo and behold hidden behind is a small township. One will pass by the main entrance to Aman Suria. I don't know what it's called. The Hakka Restaurant is the one with a chain of restaurants in KL. Our host told us that this Hakka Restaurant is very popular among Hakkas in KL since the olden days. But since I am no KL-ites, I have no clue about it. Sorry, I don't know the name.
But it serves delicious pig trotter.

If your friend & family are from Mainland China, you may want to check if they like seafood.
A couple of years back, my mother's Hakka uncle came from China to visit us. He could not take any seafood at all, as he could not stand the fishy smell. He said that he has never before in his life, taken any seafood. He felt like vomitting whenever he tasted seafood. He could only eat chicken and pork dishes.
Apart from restaurant, you may be interested to know where to bring your friends for simple Hakka breakfast/lunch. Hakka hoppoh "lui cha" is available at the corner coffeeshop, at the junction of Jalan Bandar 8 and Jalan Bandar 7, near Tesco Puchong. There is another very good one at Rest. Bandar Puteri, near Giant Puchong.
