Hi, I have a one-year old labi-labi, it's about 2 1/2 inches (shell only) long.
My aquarium is getting small and I can't afford a bigger aquarium due to time and space constraints. I can't make up my mind whether to:
1. let her go (I think it is a her based on my previous experience on red-eared sliders), meaning, release it or
2. putting her up for adoption.
Anyone? Anyone can give me any suggestion? Or is there any turtle lovers out there who already have a purpose built turtle aquarium/kolam that doesn't mind a new member?
If it is better to release her, where should I release her? river? lake?
I really love to continue having her, but I am expecting my first baby in 1 1/2 month time, so I don't think I will have much time for her after that.
I wish I could have a bigger aquarium or build a small kolam for her, but I don't have the space and time as well.
Anyone? anyone? ...
