Lately this kinda spam is becoming a norm here.

I would like to suggest to the moderators, if they could place new sign-ins under moderator, and only after few post, they are unmoderator, with that, we could reduce or eliminate this kinda postings.

But then, not sure, if we have that type of facility setting on the application here?

Yes we can moderate like that but it will kill the excitement of posting to a forum for newbies who aren't into spamming. Furthermore, it will kill me if I have to check every post before it can be displayed.

It is easier for me to delete the odd SPAM.

Kwchang. You could so something like a "random word&number generator", just like hotmail.

When people want to register at usj.com.my, they have to type the word&number generated to them. This will ensure that the person that registers is a human, and not a computer. Most spammers make use of .exec programs to help them sign up and spam like nobody's business at 1 go. This is stopped by what i just mentioned.

Give it a try. It works.

EdRoZeN, you may have not noticed that we are like the neighbourhood mom & pop store with minimal electrical gizmos. It would be nice to have these applications to filter non-human subscribers but alas, as a small community forum, we can't afford such tools. That is why we have human volunteers like myself coming around at midnight to clean up the occasional mess. :)
