Commander in Chief...
Series , Drama , White house..ABC production.
Very interesting story.The first female vice president of USA , become the First Female President of USA , when the ex president die of a massive brain stroke..
In the begining , the vice president was chosen as a gimmick to draw the 40% female votes during the presidential election.She was never actually consider to be the future president , but president died suddenly and She refused to resign and hence became the Commander in chief of USA (president)..Geena davis plays as the new president. She is an independent..Yup not demorcatic and not republican..a mother of 3.
I saw the first pilot esposide and i like.Very interesting plot and and anxious so see how mrs president going to handle all the opposition , especially the house speaker play by donald sutherland played well as the opposition , as if the president resign the place should be his instead of her..Also interesting to see how she handle the international politics as she enter her presidency in a hostile world of terrorites and other issues.
BEside that also interesting to see how the president husband become the first male first lady of the white house..Yes..they call him First Lady...How from as chief of staff for the vice president(her wife) he become first lady when her wife become president...
The end of the eposide 1 , end with a speech by new president(geena) it..was a powerful , humble , insprising and good speech..i was very touch with that speech.
I think this drama series has a good future..i hope so.
First eposide clocked a 16.2 million viewers in USA with rating of 4.4....Desperate wife 5.0 .
Yup i will be following this drama.
