nope, thats the user account, the user profile is on a higher level, a system setting that cannot be renamed that easy.

expat1609,

firstly, are you using winxp pro or home?

and another thing, do you want to
1) rename the user account so that your login screen shows a different name
2) change your profile name and folder? ie:
C:\documents and settings\owner --> C:\documents and settings\expat1609

it's a bit complicated but give it a try
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;811151#XSLTH3120121121120121120120

Try this first,
1) Create a user TEST1 with admin privileges and expat1609
2) Log in with TEST1
3) Follow the instructions for 'Copy Files to the New User Profile'
*Take note regarding the mail folders, addressbook etc. all these can be easily copy/pasted over.

4) Log in with expat1609
*Check if everything is as it should be.

Once you're comfortable, you may opt to remove the other profiles and remove the user account.

no worries there. you're just copying the profile, not deleting it, yet. ;)

you can always login back to your Owner profile.
