Hi,
I received a letter of appeal for funding from the ISPCA. Please forward this letter to all your friends, so that they can help out a bit.
Many Thanks !!

Many Malaysians may remember the story of Madam Kang Gaik Kee, the kind-hearted animal lover who single- handedly took in more than 80 stray dogs in Penang and depleted her life-savings caring for them. For several years now, her plight has been highlighted in the local newspapers. Happily, Madam Kang and her canine family have been resettled in Taiping under much better conditions, thanks to the help of kind and generous supporters from all over the country.
The ISPCA is also doing its part to help Madam Kang. Besides regular visits by some of out Committee members and medical treatment for her dogs, the ISPCA is organizing a Charity Dinner in which a portion of the proceeds will be channeled to help support her upkeep and that of her Taiping shelter. The balance of the proceeds will go towards supporting the ISPCA shelter in Jalan Gopeng.
The Charity Dinner will be held on Sunday, 30th October 2005 at the Tow Boo Keong Hall in Jalan Kampar, Ipoh. You can support this even in one of the following ways : -
1. Sponsorship of dinner table for 10 persons at RM500/- per table ;
2. Participate in the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at either RM200 or RM300 per person. Donors who contribute RM300 will be entitled to 2 complimentary dinner invitations while donors who contribute RM200 will be given 1 dinner invitation.
3. Donations of any amount. Cheques and bank drafts should be crossed and made payable to "I.S.P.C.A." Please write your name, address and contact number at the back of the cheque or bank draft. Every donation will be acknowledged with a tax exempt receipt.
For further information, please contact Doreen at 016-5608905 or Dr. Goh at 05-5455933. Please help us to help Madam Kang and also support the work of the ISPCA !
Thank you and warm regards.
