I wish I can join a class again. But after my maid run away, I have no one to look after my two little toddlers at home.
Why are you asking? Are you planning to open pilates classes soon. Inform me. Might be interested to join.

Pilates... prounouced as Pi-La-Tess
A form of execises developed in the 1920s... by Joseph H. Pilates. Mari Windsor popularised it in the 1990s starting in Los Angeles... now reknown all over the world.
Delivers a long, lean, sculpted look
Builds a stronger, supple, healthier body
Improves posture, circulation, energy, stamina
There is a certified Yoga and Pilates centre in Plaza Damas... SriHartamas. Can't remember the name of the HealthSpa but it is in the middle pedestrian walk of Plaza Damas...on the first floor.
Got it loud and clear. Now I know what is Pilates.
Thanks PJS :)

they said you can gain height a few cm if you practice pilates religiously. It is actually making you stand and sit correctly. Beside that it is good for someone with a back problem. That is why I join the one in Pantai. The instructor is also the physio there.

hi echua, do you own a pilates mat as well?
I know Nike has a pilates cum yoga mat, RM119, wondering whether there is any cheaper option.

are yoga mat the same as pilates mat, in terms of texture, design, 'functionality' ? because yoga mats are more common and easier to find. so I am wondering whether i could just get a yoga mat and use it for pilates.
