This movie is about the legendary Ray Charless..the song writer , pianolist black guy who is blind.
Jamie foxx play the role as Ray..This dude is the black pilot in Stealth.
He won an Oscar and it was Best movie of the year ..Which put him on the line with Freeman MOrgan and George Washington which won one in Training Day..Another good movie..
In Ray..u will see little ray growth up and become blind and start to involve in singing and playing piano..His potrait of ray is amazing so real and the pure talent of ray show in this movie is astonishing..The music is good , flow of story and development of story is nice and smooth..The language and drama is excellent too..SOme sex scene here and there and quite dramatic..ALso see some personal challenges that ray face like tension , drug abuse ,always scare of getting con..too much sex..being used..and others.
First first when i hear about this movie getting the Oscar..i thought well , they got it just because as a tribute to the legendary blind old dude..But after receiving some nice review i downloaded it..And to my surprise it is a good movie!!
So get it! It's worthy it...Don believe me..go ask Ray Charles :)
