I am very interested in promoting wireless broadband in my office since I hear in the long run it is cheaper to maintain but would like to know on the following:

1. They say the current wireless protocol ver.1 is a bit slow and I should wait at least unless ver.2 which is used now in USA is being implemented locally?
2. Whether it is as fast as a streamyx of the equivalent broadband?
3. Whether it stable compared to a leaseline broadband?
4. Why I should not implement wireless broadband now?

Much obliged if someone could help me out on this.

I can only think of the answer towards question four. The reason is wired network often offers a better connection because it is all wired and there aren't much interference (apart from crosstalk?). Whereas wireless you might faced with interference such as the wall and such (remember, it is all about electromagnetic waves and it is easily stopped by lead :p ). If I were you, I would go for wired.

Cheers :)

We meet again.

I'll take your advice and will ask again in 2008 when I seriously plan to go wireless. :)
