looking in the papers and watching the news, or even just looking around our urban society nowadays have given me a very jaded and hopeless feeling about our society and the people around me.

but recently, there's this guy called the hitz.fm merdeka man who's been going round malaysia dependent just on the kindness of malaysians around. he's dependent on them for his food, bed for the nite, travelling and all sorts, even his underwear!!

when i first heard that the radio station was trying to prove that malaysians are kind souls deep down inside, i thought " these fellas are gonna fall flat on their faces with a stunt like that. not many people are gonna offer this dude much"

i was wrong. malaysians from all walks of life have offered a helping hand, from kl to seremban, to melaka, to johor, to pahang, to trengganu, to kelantan, to penang and on to east malaysia.

syabas all of you. you've restored the my faith in the friendly and helpful malaysia spirit. i am very proud to be MALAYSIAN. Malaysia BOLEH!!

thank you merdeka man, thank you hitz.fm, and most of all thank you MALAYSIANS :)

ahh... just my 55 sen :)
