any suggestions? any style.. thanks!
ps: do we fry egg first or last to add into rice?

some fry egg first. some fry rice, then make a well and break egg in the well and slowly incorporate the rice to the egg. some try to mix the rice and the egg. it's all a matter of preference.
but i like to add either salted fish or dried prawns and chilly padi ;)

Have you try adding young ginger (blended) with the egg??? Sure give you extra umpphh especially if you eat it hot (with the flied lice)... ;)

Mom used to cook fried ginger rice,i.e. instead of having garlic, one has slices of ginger in it! Try it, very good!!
yummmm, wonder why i haven't heard of ginger fly the lice before one..but i can smell it and my stomak is making engine noise oledi...yes at 1am.. :p

hahahaha...u sure owe me one for that ya...in my family, most of us prefer to use ginger instead of anything else...if you prefer it 2b really hot, used old ginger...my personal preference is, I prefer the ginger to be minced instead of slice.
Heat the wok, flied the egg (half cooked)...then add ginger...add in a bit of sesame oil for extra taste...rice will be the last ingredient to be added in...the texture of the lice shld be dry...
..i won't forget to remember i owe u all one... :p
