Hi friends,

The IWK officers came and said that the matter is not under their purview, as the leakage is between the square hole (the septic tank at the backyard) and the round hole which is in the backlane.

Some inspecting officer responsible to see that the connection from the house to the IWK pipe must have been suffering from poor eyesight as a result he has certified that the connection was done according to the rules of the contract.
Imagine over 50 houses having the same problem.
And now presto, the seepage is not going into the IWK septic tank. Now who is responsible if the connection was not properly done?

Definately not the house owners.

It could be the sloppy work from the contractors hired by SIME UEP. I heard that the paintings on the wall was of poor quality too ? ;)

since waste water doesn't go to iwk, does this mean the affected household don't have to pay up? :D

just a lighter note... :p
