A little bird told me his boss, ydp of mpsj, Dato' Ab. Hakim will be transfer out very soon, most probability @ the midst of this month, 16th of august 2005. He was promoted & transfer to state government of selangor.

His successor is En. Mohd Arif, Pegawai Majlis Daerah Sepang, Selangor. Hope this new guy can mix well with all of us !!!

OK. I called up my source and he was filled with joy when he came to know that his boss is definitely leaving and for good riddance.

I was thinking of having something on the 31st August with some makan in the field next to the Sri Melor 2 and the USJ 17 JKP cabin. Hopefully the haze will be cleared. With this guy around, it has always been gloomy. I just can't think of what achievement he has done during his 3 years here. In fact he was the one who has been giving us all the headache. If the press covers this event, we will be the first in the country to celebrate the transfer of a YDP with good riddance. Let us celebrate and rejoice.

Ahli-ahli Jawatankuasa Penduduk hendaklah tidak kurang dari 10 orang dan tidak melebihi 30 orang jumlahnya. Jawatankuasa ini terdiri daripada mereka yang memegang jawatan berikut :
a) Pengerusi
b) Naib Pengerusi
c) Setiausaha
d) Bendahari
e) Ahli - ahli Jawatankuasa Kecil


Syarat-syarat Perlantikan

Ahli–ahli yang dilantik hendaklah terdiri daripada:
a) Warganegara yang berpengaruh dan mewakili semua lapisan masyarakat yang berbilang kaum dan yang bermastautin di kawasan itu.

b) Mempunyai bakat kepimpinan.

c) Sanggup berkhidmat untuk masyarakat dan mempunyai sikap dan keperibadian yang yang baik.

d) Berumur tidak kurang daripada 21 tahun. Tidak pernah dikenakan hukuman mahkamah atas sebarang kesalahan jenayah atau mempunyai namanya dalam rekod polis sebagai orang yang dikehendaki.


PELANTIKAN JKP
a) Semua ahli Jawatankuasa Penduduk akan dilantik oleh MPSJ beserta perakuan daripada wakil rakyat dan penduduk setempat.

b) Mereka akan terdiri dari pemimpin-pemimpin masyarakat, belia dan lain-lain orang yang difikirkan sesuai di dalam sesuatu kawasan. Pemilihan / pelantikan JKP akan dilakukan setiap dua tahun.

c) Setiap JKP yang dipilih akan menerima sijil perlantikan dan tag nama.

d) Hanya sekurang-kurangnya dua orang wakil sesuatu persatuan sahaja dibenarkan menyertai JKP.


TEMPOH PERJAWATAN
Tempoh perjawatan untuk semua Ahli Jawatankuasa adalah tidak melebihi 2 tahun. Ini akan dinyatakan dalam surat perlantikan. Di akhir tempoh perjawatan, ahli-ahli JKP boleh dilantik semula mengikut budibicara MPSJ serta perakuan daripada Wakil Rakyat.

PENAMATAN JAWATAN
MPSJ boleh menamatkan perkhidmatan mana-mana Ahli Jawatankuasa pada bila-bila masa jika difikirkan yang ahli berkenaan tidak sesuai untuk memegang jawatannya. Begitu juga seorang Ahli Jawatankuasa boleh memohon kepada Pengerusi JKP untuk meletakkan jawatannya di atas sebab-sebab yang tertentu. Pengerusi JKP juga boleh melantik lain-lain orang sebagai pengganti ahli itu.

KEKOSONGAN JAWATAN
Jika ada Ahli Jawatankuasa yang telah meninggal dunia atau meletakkan jawatan, Pengerusi JKP boleh melantik penggantinya mengikut syarat-syarat perlantikan seperti yang telah ditetapkan.

Let’s be fair about this, if you are willing to serve and you have the Community’s welfare at heart, there is really no stopping you from becoming a member of the JKP.

There are people who are in the JKP for their personal/political benefit, but there are also many who are in the JKP to serve the Community. The problem here is that there are so few of the latter coming forward leaving more and more room for the former.

So it would be good not to try to make life difficult for the “good” ones.

how do we know they are good? how do they publish and communicate what they do and are doing? Are we to blame now?The jkp website is not updated except for Zone 1 in early this year by Theresa who is a good JKP.(no longer a jkp). So how do they communicate to the many residents that they lead. Maybe only selected few are kept informed. A certain Tupai wrote to his JKP offering his help and services..tak ada jawapan pun. Tupai san ada jawapankah?

Easy to say others are arm chair critics but in the first place what is going on is not announced widely. The tools of communication is not used. Of course you can't speak to every resident but if you publish it on jkp website or here, than the onus is on the resident to check for the info. When there zero communications, how does the majority of the resident know.

My sore point is the aku janji.Request has been made on this site for a copy some time ago. Why can't the person who has it, scan it and put it on this website. Who does the aku janji belong to, the residents or a select few.How many request need to be made fro a copy that belongs to everyone in usj/sj/puchong?

and if you're good, get better and voice out on the others who are not doing their job. It is ok for arm chair critics, but you are a leader when you are a jkp.

Instead talk like an arm chair critic on this site. Some arm chair critics have stood up and defended our position to adun and fellow councillors. So don't keep complaining of arm chair critics, all jkps should show us how the lead and represnt the residents than come and tell us we are arm chair critics.

Err...Orchi never knew that ONLY one person...in the whole Div 1 league...could be making such an enormous impact...

Ahem...should Yang Arif be currently seen as still being compared with in Div 2...now Orchi wonders what kind of an impact...he could make...when he is promoted to Div 1 MPSJ...

The Aku Janji pledges was initiated by members of JKP Zon3 (PC was the Chairman at that time), he was the one who made the arrangements to meet the aspiring YBs from BN, we were the ones who arranged the wordings in the document.

We focused on
a) Traffic
b) Infrastructure
c) Security
d) Local Authority
e) Education

We were the ones who got the YBs to sign the documents.

As a former Committee Member of JKP Zon3, I would appreciate very much that we do not belittle this document by handing the Original over to just anyone.

If it is that important to the people who want it, I will get the original from PCYeoh, scan and post it at the Neighbourhood Watch Website.

Let’s see if those of you who are so eager to get your hands on it will put it to good use.
