Can anyone recommend a car spray paint place which also does some minor repair work on car exterior?
I remember, there was once a thread started on this, but can't seem to find it in the archive search. Pointer to it would be great.

I just got my 10-year old proton repainted. I'm quite satisfied. Everyone says it looks impressive. And the price was reasonable. You want the number of the mechanic? His place is near the PAWS before the Subang airport.

"fainting"? you mean your reaction after getting the bill? :)

Some paint jobs look real good when done. One year down the road it could look worse than before you had the repainting done. Beware if it is cheap.

A lot of repainting shops next to the Shell station at SS19 (near Lick Hung Chinese primary school). Go see for yourself how they do it. Almost all of them have enclosed spray rooms.

There are quite a few respray shops at Taman Medan area (next to Kg Dato Harun) Jalan Kelang Lama. They do look busy though..roaring business I seem to notice.

HI kwchang, yup fainting is also meant as fading...I am used to the word faint rather than fade...which is similar in meaning, but normally people would use fade, rather than faint. but it aint wrong to use faint either. ;-)

Yup I did checkout the shops at SS19 (the two corner shops) but I wasnt convinced and the price is slightly higher than norm.

I think klang has better pricing but not sure what are their quality level...one of these gotta run down there to check it out...

Sorry for the delayed reply. Was away for a while. Here's the number
012 3663617 Ken
He only speaks a smattering of English, so it's either Cantonese or BM.
I sprayed my car metallic blue, so if it's no good, it should be obvious from the start right?
Just give him a call and say tell him sue passed his number. His customers are mainly referrals.

i was reccomended to this guy in taman sri muda, shah alam. i have in the past taken my car/s to various guys but this one, i must say, was really good and satisfactory. and the price, for the recent one i did on my new car, was surprisingly cheaper than what was quoted by other guys.

his name is thomas, mobile no: 012 3851190

Near USJ1 Giant thereabout, there is a specialist paint shop call PaintBull. They do touch-ups for original paints. Cost an arm and a leg but the restoration work is good. I had my Gold Wing bike touched up there a couple of years ago when 'someone' decided it was taking too much space in the porch area for her to park her Altis properly... and nudged it over the side. :(
