I'm looking for Mandarin classes for adults in USJ. I can speak Mandarin fairly well and am looking forward to learn to read and write the language. Any recommendations? I prefer the classes to be held during the weekend. Also the fees must be reasonable!

Thanks.

There is a proper school at SS15. A few doors from Burger King, facing the NPE. They conduct classes for other languages too.

SJ. I can speak Mandarin fairly well and am looking forward to learn to read and write the language. .

It may surprise you to know that your command of the language is very limited until you learn the written chinese characters.

The mandarin that is spoken by most non-literate people in malaysia are of lower primary school level which is inundated by english and malay words.

hmm... i sat and passed my chinese subject in STPM, and tought the chinese primary school as a relief teacher for a year, i think i will be able to teach you. currently, i have been in commercial line for 8 years and am looking forward to starting something on my own. Fees..? it's reasonable, i think it's RM300 in the market. ok, mine one is only rm200, 1 1/2 hrs and it's weekend too. anyone interested? i am staying in usj 8. :)

Chenny, I think it is called the Intercultural School or something. It is near the pedestrian bridge linking SS15 to SS14, over the NPE.
