Copied ad verbatim from promotional e-mail that was forwarded to me by a friend :
Are you a parent, teacher, counselor or a youth worker? If so you will be equally concerned as we are about the problems, challenges and difficulties confronting teenagers today. Some of you may already be despairing by their irrational demands and at your wit's end on how to help or support them.
The issues challenging all of us who deal with teenagers cut across all nationalities and ethnic groups. It is not easy dealing with youth. Disobedient and unruly kids are hard to love. The irony is that these are the kids who need our help and love the most when they are acting the worst. We need a paradigm shift to start seeing them as kids with problems instead of problem kids.
How would you like to share your views with a counselor who has more than 30 years of counseling experience with youths?
