BY SYED AZHAR
KOTA BARU: Armed robbers escaped with RM1.5mil in jewellery and cash from the home of a businessman after threatening to kill his wife and rape his daughters in Machang, near here.

The intruders bound their victims before ransacking the house and escaping with the jewellery and nearly RM500,000 in cash.

Err...Ski:)...yeah...Orchi wonders that too...IF the family of a politikus has gotten that much wealth at home...how much more can be expected...elsewhere?
Now...it is not a crime to be rich...agree...but was the family as rich...before the political appointment?...or did the family 'obtain' wealth during the tenure of the political career of his son...?
Ahem...is all this right?
Err...Jessi:)...perhaps fellow forumers in here...who is well verse with insurance(IanQ...Totoro...Ver are u?)...could offer some advice on the insurance claims possibility?...hmmm...imagine the annual premium costs...

Parhaps the 1.5M is only the tip of the iceberg. Its not uncommom to find top guns having advantage in the business world, they get advance info on projects etc etc we "small fry" where can compete?. They get "members" to "kau tiam", we can only "sit and watch with our nose pressed against the window-pane".
They know how to channel funds here and there, we trying hard just to fill up our "form B".... that is why I am still trying to earn till the day I die... while they are spending until the day they die..
Btw, by todays standard, how much money must I have B4 I can retire and have 3 decent meals a day, drives a 3 cylinder mousedeer, own a 1 horse aircon, access to 1mbs broadband and maybe nice meal at some small corner restaurant on weekends. ?? Orchi, you are good will the calculator, pls tell me.
