remote control for tv spoilt

i have a GC tv but the remote control is not working

how do i get a replacement ? do i have to get back the one from GC or

can i just buy any one from any electrical shop

You can try checking with GC but when I lost the RC for my air-cond, I didn't go back to York. Went over to one of the electrical shops in Jalan Pudu & got it replaced...still working perfectly!

Just go to Seng Heng or Giant and buy the Universal remote controller. it works.

Nowadays any electrical shop would carry the universal remote control.
Yah, I have seen them in Giant too.
