When I was a child I used to love going to the circus. That awe and wonder came crashing down the day I sat ring-side and saw up close and personal how misearable and malnourished the Sun Bears were. Their pain was evident, their eyes were glazed. That was a horrifying realization for a little girl that all is really not well under The Big Top.
That is why till today, I will not go for any circus.
