Internet setting fir wireless

I had to reformat my laptop and reinstall all my drivers.
My wireless (usb) adapter is having a signal, indicating its talking to the router but i cant get online to my IE6. I forgot my settings which was done long time ago. My IE6 internet account setup doesnt have the option for wireless, only for modem or LAN. what do i need to do.? anyone has any idea abt how to get my IE6 to "talk" to the wireless. Appreciate yr help. thanks

you may have password on your wireless. If you have, then you need to find out how to login into your wireless router, you need password and username. My router login is 192.168.0.1

Sometimes, you may need to assign ip manually. Like mine, I am using 192.168.0.6
