Has anyone try making jelly (agar-agar) in soya-milk flavor? Do you add condensed milk?

I have tried. No I didn't add condensed milk.

What I did was to replace water with Soya Milk. Boil it with the jelly.
When boiled, add sugar.

Pour the boiled agar-agar or jelly into mould. To make it tasty, add some canned longan or mixed fruit into the mould. The best fruit would still be longans. Yum yum....sweet and extremely nice when chilled in fridge.

Tks for the tips...btw, wat type of soya milk did u use? Packet or fresh type which we can get from the tau-foo-fah van?

I was at this coffee shop in PJ State last Sat and this fruit stall sells the soya milk agar-agar...it was really delicious & the soya milk taste was really intense...that's why I tot they must hv added condensed milk in it coz it tasted different...

For easy sake, use yeo hiap seng. No need sugar.

Almond Agar Agar
Get some almond powder or instant almond drink. Mix with water then boil. Add enough agar agar to make it solid. Put it in the freezer.... yummy!

To get fine texture agar agar, use a metal filter (easier to wash) to filter agar2 before pouring onto the mould.
