Putra Heights...a place which is seclude from the world...
In Putra Heights, there are no public transport, no shop, no supermarket even using internet...connected at 28,000bps only and sometimes can't get connect too.

Others are not so important, but...no public transport...is clumsy for us. How we go outside from Putra Heights? Drive? Sure, we can do it, but...we are not per person per car and....as we know...the petro increase again and we have to pay few tolls nowadays. :(

You can apply for metrobus. Just print out a paper and gather everyones signature for those living in Putra Heights. Then you hand it to the driver so that he can pass it to the manager. The whole process will took up to 5 months.

For Internet problems, kindly contact the nearest clickers for streamyx. They are very helpfull and they can make the port for streamyx available as fast as possible.

Count your blessing now.... and enjoy the peace and tranquility while it lasts... I remember when we moved into USJ 27 ( my friends even commented ... " sudah ada USJ27 ka? " ) it was quite peaceful in a sense, no traffic no schools... ( ohhh... forgot about the DARN QUARRY BLASTING away....) but it was quiet... Now that Putra Heights & Bistari has opened up... traffic has steadily increased... the school in USJ23/25 has opened... mind you - almost kissed a school bus that drove up the wrong way just to avoid going a big circle, getting to Putra Heights  !

Other than that... its still pretty peaceful after dark... :)

For food and drinks you can drive to alam megah. There is a KFC too. Agreed that public transport is lacking even getting a cab is tough. But putra heights is a new residential area and therefore have to wait for more residents to move in and the commercial center i.e putra point to be ready.

What irks me is that the price we need to pay to go to KLIA which is RM55++ for half an hour journey.

My friend bought a house near putra heights and regretted it. It is very secluded, everytime must drive at least 10 to 15 minutes to reach nearest hawker centres etc.

So what he did couple years ago was to sell his house and move to puchong. He is happy now with streamyx and shops nearby. ;)

I have just moved to Putra heights from USJ4. Traffic is a breeze every morning for me to go to shah Alam via Alam Mega. o need to go thru any part of of USJ and avoid all the jam. Agree that the place is seclude but but you enjoy the peace and all the new playgrounds.

For food and marketing, there are more shops in Puchong Bandar Puteri and Tesco area with lots of free parking. Compare to Taipan horrible parking problems, you should go to Puchong too and compare the prices there.

Access from Putra Ht to Shah Alam, Kesas and Ldp is mostly free flow any time.

Agreed. Everyone wants a perfect place to live in but everyone's definition of a perfect place is different.

My family moved in to Putra Hts Bistari end 2003 from USJ11. Like the place, quiet, traffic well if you skip USJ then is it good. Shopping wise we only shop during weekends. Taxi no problem.

Well I guess I'm the complete exception from the rule....I never want a perfect place to live....I will move from place to place until I drop dead....London, USJ, Bali, Bahrain....the list goes on....that's what I like.... ;-)

.If Metrobus is not interested in providing service to Putra Heights, perhaps RapidKL will be interested as they are (supposedly) a public service.

write to them at suggest@rapidkl.com.my or contact the GM of "product" (ie. new services) Dina Salleh, at bddina@lrt.rapidkl.com.my.

Once upon a time, Sunway was like that. Every new area needs time to be developed. Look at Sunway now.

Be patient... and pray harder...

Never know... you might just find the LRT system at your doorstep. :p Then you can start complaining... about the noise and whatnots.

If you are aware, very soon you will have an exit out of Putra Heights into the ELITE highway... can save a few more sen paying toll if you wanna get South/KLIA by driving through Putra Heights... if you wanna save a bit more, exit through Saujana Putra... which is doing to be connected to Putra Heights...

Nice place to be away from the jams and everything. But wonder how long it will last. Has been staying here since 2003. Not much chinese eatery places though unless you go over to Alam Megah. There also not much choice. Well, like some people say, one man's meat could be another man's poison.
