it all happened about 5 to 6 months ago when my mum brought home a thin scrawny dark colour betta home. I was like what is this?? MM dun really care abou this fish anyway at first.
Then after some times i grew to like this fish because everytime I come near to its fishy container, it will swim actively flipping its fins rapidly and open and close its mouth as it knows that ; "ok, there's a human there; it's MEAL TIME"
Well, it's quite a theraphy looking at this now my beloved fishy of mind; with the name - Fee Fickery aka Fee aka Fickely aka Kely Fish or Curly FIsh :D
For the first few weeks after it was brought home, it doesn't want to eat the commercial red and green fishy pellet. My family members including me will always try to "Phak Bang" (pukul nyamuk) and plop it into the bowl and ""PRRROOP" my fishy gobble it up like a flash of lightning. BUt, as you know "phak Bang" is not that easy because sometimes we beat the mosquitoes too hard that it is too smashed up to be eaten by Fee.
ANyway, after a while Fee had became "obidient" so to say; it will eat the green and red pellet; it will be a fool to wait for us to catch mosquitoes; by the time it wait it would have starve to *****..
This fishy mania doesn't just stop in my house; my grand dad now have two Betta(s); and my grandma loves those fishy too :p also has two Betta(s). My grand dad is very enthusiatic about buying fish food for those betta(s). Recently he bought a fishy food which can enhance the natural colour pigments and with vitamins; those bettas are fatter than mine and the colour is more beautiful; Thus, i took some and feed my Fee! ;) Fee likes it ALOT!! It is more gorgeous than ever and ok MORE ACTIVE and those flippy fins are faster than ever and more GARANG too.
Occasionally when my Fee thought I'm going to put its favourite pellet; i put another type of fish food , Tubifex Worm; my Fee is now very picky it would only eat that Tubifex Worm if it thought that I will feed that colour enhancer food. It is so funny to see Fee's expression when it gobbles that Tubifex; it was like "mm this is not my usuall food but ok taste ok too just telan la" akakakakka :cool: Now my Fee doesn;t want to feed on mosquitoes anymore :rolleyes: Picky eater ! :mad: Manja it too much liow!
I practice consideration towards my fish's surrounding, emotion and needs. First of all if you have a fish at the table, please do not slam ur thing or throw the things on that table but instead put is on gently; becareful not to frighten or to shock the fish. It is advisable to take time taking to fish and i believe it will become more responsive to you. Also, always remember to provide you fish with clean water to leave in. We would like to breath in clean air am i right? Fish needs clean water to live healthily and HAPPILY :)
