Simple check - look at the 3 lights on your ADSL modem - are they all lighted up and not blinking? If the middle light is still blinking, then you do not have a connection with the switch at Telekoms.

As far as I know from my experience, the installation of Streamyx requires a call from the technician to Telekoms to activate your connection. If this is not done, no way you will get connected.

Another reason is that your Streamyx line is having a normal phone connected to it. If you do not have a splitter connected, the line will be very noisy - you can easily check this by picking up the phone when you try to connect on Streamyx. If you do not have the splitter, this noise will prevent you from connecting to Telekoms.

Did you add @streamyx to the user name? note no dot com
and Do you have a lightning protector somewhere along the line?

Try reset the whole unit

Then enter the user name (xxxxxxxx@streamyx), password (tmnetxxxxx)

Select PPPoE LLC

Remember to save. at each page.

Then enable NAT

If you can set the DNS, then set it to Auto Discovery and User Configuration.

The DNS nos are 202.188.0.133 and 202.188.1.5

Save and restart the modem.

I could not find if the modem is a bridge modem or not. found the Dlink 504T. If not bridged, don't load the WinPoet or any ADSL dialer.

Try it first. Oh yes another thing, try connecting directly to the main phone line. without the spliter and any lightning protector.
