For those using Spywareblaster 3.3 and tried to download its latest protection updates (Mar 16) and encountered a data corruption problem, perhaps these steps may be of assist:-
1. Open Spywareblaster and click on the Updates link on the left of the program.
2. In the Updates page: click the Options button on the top.
3. Check the box "Use Alternative Download Method". There will be a prompt with details of some warnings, you can safely ignore and continue the process.
4. Go back to the Updates page by clicking the Updates button on top.
5. Click the "Check for Updates" button.
6. You are done...
The above steps (which I have tabulated above for ease of use) was gathered after following the thread link below..you do this method only if you encounter data corruption problem when downloading the protection updates.
