Trees choping

Just came back from brakefast, when was passing by Subang police station , saw all the trees being cut / trim until botak already, y is this happening .....the weather is already so hot , y do mpsj still want to cut down trees, if the tree is to big , the least they can do is trim a little of it, not until botak..
somore tomorrow is gonna be a very very hot day ...( equinox )

May be we can ask YB LHB to find out the reason(s). We cannot tolerate this tree chopping games anymore. Do not chop unless a particular tree poses any risks to motorists or other road users.

Who approved them to do so?? how much were they paid to do such thing??

I think the trees are being chopped because it poses risk to motorist.. i.e. lightning strike, strong winds, etc. Imagine yourself waiting at the traffic lights in bad weather... I always have this phobia that those tall tress will fall on top of my car.

I also notice a few months back, they chopped this black trunk trees along the roads near Summit. Whenever there were strong winds these trees (with black trunks ones) are more incline to have broken branches. You'll notice many branches on the road after a storm.

if that were the case, it's better not to plant any tree along the road side. Just plant cactus. No maintenance is required.
Look at singapore, we can see how well they maintain the rain trees along the highway.

like i mention earlier ...they could just trim the trees...no need until botak..i just came back from carrefour and i still see them cutting the trees..now near the 7-eleven.....what is mpsj doing lar..... :mad:

Actually I would agree with what MPSJ is doing with all the trees cutting - if it is the safety of pedestrians or motorists that they have in mind ...BUT...
they left the leaves and twigs and branches along the road and caused quite a jam along the road this morning! what more with the school is re-opened today, and the leaves are all there covering one of the lane. The best they could do is to have the signs "Lencongan" along the road?

Too bad I was out of town last weekend, if have seen the situation earlier, I would have urged some e-neighbours here to come out and do some "gotong-royong" to clear up the mess for them, and for ourselves too. This morning I was stucked there for about 20 minutes just to get pass 1 traffic light - and ended up late to work.

I think my point is, we should trust MPSJ that they do something with a good intention, but MPSJ should also give us a reason to trust them by doing things the right way..
