For Autocad 2005 ...why not look at an alternative ..Bricscad . Check it out at www.bricscad.com . Cost a quarter or less to Autocad . Unless fully loaded with $$$ ..then different story lar...

Bricscad is using the same file format as Autocad . Files are interchangeable as well . If you are familiar with Autocad , there is no reason not able to master Bricscad /Intellicad . This is the cad program that the local architect association opt for when Autocad up their prices for their products . You can download a full version for 30 days free evaluation . If you like it , can buy through the local support agent in Kota Kemuning .

This thread is very telling ... the BSA would be interested to know why no one knows how to get original softwares :)

Normally, I contact Integrators - those companies that provide computerisation services from sourcing hardware, software as well as programming services. Don't be surprised that shops in LowYat may stock original shrink-wrap applications. Probably not niche-market applications like Autocad but certainly Microsoft products.

You can buy online as well from it's headquarters in US or Europe . I save 50k+ rm going for the 5 license pro ver compare with Autocad
About 400+ USD for a pro version or 1k+ for 5 license pack . Good value I would say compare with Autocad at 2500+ USD for the full ver.

Normally, shops in Sunway Pyramid and Mid Valley do not display ORIGINAL software to sell as there are hardly any buyers. You just have to asked them and normally they dont believe you at first or believe what they had just heard.

They will have to order the software for you and it takes a few days or more.

I bought my ORIGINAL Microsoft Office in Mid Valley, late last year.

Ok ok...

1. Microsoft Office Standard Edition

Are you a teacher, if so, get the student teacher edition it very cheap. You can get it from the computer shop at the Carrfour Subang upstair carpark. BuyNow (or something)

2. Autocad 2005

I agree with CCY. I got the Autodsys IntelliCAD v.5.1.5.04 Standard Edition online. USD 149.00

3. Adobe Creative Suite

This I cannot help you. I got the CuteWriter PDF creator for free. It's freeware.

Was there in Carrfour Subang Jaya. The shop name is MegaBuy. If you have a student or a teacher in your house hold, you can buy the studnet teacher edition of Microsoft Office at RM400+. This entitles you to install it onto 4 computers.

But saying that, I prefer the OpenOffice by Sun Microsystems. It's free. You can D/L the latest version at www.openoffice.org (http://www.openoffice.org/) It reads and writes MSword, Excel as well as A presentation thrown in.
