DVD ROM very slow!

Recently, I bought a TEAC DVD RW W58E DVD/CD-ROM . My daughter tried to install a DVD game but, it could not install the game.
1. It read slowly, ( but it could read DVD movies and was fast!)
2. Hangs up after two minutes.

What's the problem?

Hardware check says its working properly. Region1. I changed it from 3. Not the problem. Speed I put it on fastest. Still no go.

Help? Anyone? :confused:

Looks like a problem with your DVD disk. U mentioned "a DVD game" but have u tried with other DVD game disc? Or try using the same DVD disk (the problematic one) on another DVD drive.
