I would recommend those who loves a good comedy and dance to watch this movie!! J'Lo really mesmerized me with her graceful dance and stance!!!
Richard Gere - is amazing, he still look great at this age! Susan Sarandon is a natural actress while playing the role of Richard's wife. Then there is the goofy dancer, who is a lawyer by day and a freaky Latin dancer - with fake tan, wig and tight pants, chest-baring top!! Whew, when he dance, wow!!! Then the lady who played Bobbi, she is crass but damn funny!!!

Watch it and let me know how much you love the dance steps and music!!
Great soundtrack...I am looking forward to buying it!

ya...the soundtrack is good... what is the title of the song at the end of the movie??..i mean almost to the end... showing the part before Richard Gere turned up to meet J'lo at the party... is it called " the book of love"?... sung by who??

Watched it on the plane two weekends ago. An entertaining movie. The best thing about it is that Richard Gere's character did not have an affair with J'Lo's. That would have spoilt it.
I liked the part when Richard and Bobbi slide during the waltz competition. I think this show was saved by the supporting cast. Susan Sarandon's acting was really good.
After the movie, the song "Shall We Dance?" from the King & I was on my mind. Did not really notice the song "The Book of Love". If I am not mistaken, that song is a Burt Bacharach song, whose music is always best sung by Dioone Warwick. But I am not sure if that's the song used in the movie.

Yah, I like the Book of Love song too. Watched DVD and it has the name of the singer. Will check it out for you. Hope the soundtrack cd will be available for sales. I like the Music video by the group who performed Sway (the song played at the party for JLo when the movie ended). Wow!!!! Their sexiness blow your senses away lah!! Especially in The Making of Shall We Dance, the lead singer of the group was interviewed! Oh la la....these women are sexier than JLo, man!!! :D
