Outlook express with streamyx & jaring on dialup

Struggling to get both account working with outlook express 2k . Previously on jaring using 56k modem dialup . Now added streamyx and couldn't set up for the streamyx as it always goes to the dialup instead of the streamyx router .
Anyone in the know here ?

In your Internet Explorer, goto Tools > Options
Under the Connections tab, there will be 3 options:
1) Never dial a connection
2) Dial whenever a network connection is not present
3) Always diak my default connection

Yours is probably on 3. Try changing it to 2 or 1.

Please be aware that Streamyx do not allow connection to Jaring's SMTP servers thus you can recieve POP mail but not send them. you have to send via the Jaring's webmail.

Strangely TM allows Gmail's smtp sending. Is TM trying to be funny?

Got these damn email account going after throwing all existing account away and reconfigure .

Funny thing is that when astech 4port router is used I seem not to find any note saying that you have to login to the router gateway using user 'admin' then the streamyx account details . That f****p cause me 1 and a half days of wild shooting everywhere ....!!!!
